Iron & steel
Recovered ferrous metal returns to the industrial supply chain through iron and steel trading.
02 / OUR WORK
From machinery sourced in the United States to material recovered in India. We connect the end of one working life with the beginning of another.

Select a stage to see how machinery becomes material for its next use.
GLOBAL SOURCING
Engines and heavy machinery are sourced in the United States. Equipment that has finished its service life can still hold substantial recoverable metal.
Sourced equipment moves into import coordination.
IMPORT COORDINATION
Sourced equipment is imported into India. Each consignment is coordinated from purchase through to arrival.
Imported equipment is ready for dismantling in India.
METHODICAL DISMANTLING
Machinery is dismantled in India, taken apart in a deliberate sequence so that assemblies, components and materials can be separated.
Separated components move into sorting and recovery.
SORTING & MATERIAL RECOVERY
Dismantled material is sorted by type. Separating metals cleanly is what allows them to be recovered and used again rather than discarded.
Recovered iron and steel can re-enter the industrial supply chain.
IRON & STEEL TRADING
Sehgal Alloys is engaged in the trading of iron and steel. Recovered metal re-enters the trade and continues in productive industrial use.
The machinery’s working life ends. The material’s possibilities continue.
The next life of metal
Metal that stays in circulation can reduce the need for newly extracted resources, making fuller use of what already exists.
Recovered ferrous metal returns to the industrial supply chain through iron and steel trading.
Other materials are separated by type, keeping the recovered ferrous material clean.
Keeping existing metals in circulation makes fuller use of materials already in the world.
